The 69th Rotary International Convention

The 69th Annual Convention of Rotary International took place from May 14 to 18, 1978, at the Yoyogi National Indoor Arena.
With a total registration of 40,155 from 95 countries, it is the greatest convention in Rotary history. R. I. President W. Jack Davis presided, and the incoming President, Clem Renouf was introduced.
The host Tokyo Rotary Club opened its House of Friendship at the Imperial Hotel and contributed to the success of the Convention.
